Retriever Communications was founded in 1996 to be a company solely focused on mobile business applications for the field. The company mission is to improve field worker productivity, this being reflected in a product which is totally reliable and easy to use.

Our first customers were deployed on Australian GSM networks in 1998, with Retriever’s outsourced wireless SaaS facility becoming commercial in 1999.

With success secured in Australia Retriever then expanded to customers in New Zealand in 2001 and secured an international distribution agreement with USA based Intergraph in 2003.

As the Mobility Industry Solutions Partner of the Year at the 2008 Microsoft Australia Partner Program Awards Retriever has proven themselves again as leading their industry in field force automation.

Today Retriever maintains its international focus with local offices today in Sydney, London and Milan - supporting deployments in over 21 countries by offering applications in all languages, including Chinese double byte character sets.
